QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for In-house Legal Counsels!
Futurance develops blockchain-based platforms. We are based at Fulya, Istanbul. If you have the following qualifications, join the team to build the future of finance:
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice and hands-on legal support for Futurance
- Foreseeing the relevant Act and subordinate statute of Turkish fintech and blockchain industry
- Draft, structure, negotiate, review, and advise on agreements and business commitments
- Research, manage and resolve disputes between Futurance and other parties
- Interact with government authorities when they are conducting investigations or audits
- Carrying out the follow-up of litigation and enforcement files regularly and meticulously,
- Able to make regular and auditable reporting and control the prepared reports,
- Having experience in preparing detailed legal opinions in a way to present justifications for each stage of litigation and enforcement files,
- Willing to work in a team,
Requirements
- Holds a law degree from reputable universities
- Having at least 3 years of professional experience, especially in the field of Enforcement Law, Law of Obligations, Commercial Law, Personal Data Protection legislation, and IT law
- English proficiency required
- Extensive knowledge and experience in all relevant Turkish laws and regulations especially the specific regulations related to the fintech and blockchain industry
- Min 3 years of experience at a law firm/in-house legal and/or for a multinational corporation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across various business functions and territories and an aptitude for working with people with diverse backgrounds and personalities at all levels of an organization
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accuracy, reliability, and pride in work product, under deadline pressure
