QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- B.Sc degree in Industrial / Computer Engineering or MIS or other relevant departments such as science/technical/economy, etc.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Planning, Demand Management, Project Management, Business Analysis -min 3 to be in managerial roles
- Internal/external relationship/stakeholder management experience at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; including syndicating IT topics with technical and non-technical employees
- Strong planning and analytical capabilities
- Insurance sector know how will be considered as a strong asset
- Fluency in English
- Can do attitude
- Project Management Certification will be considered as a strong asset
Job Description
- Senior level representation of the Business within the IT organization, guaranteeing the service provided by IT to Business,
- Drives and manages a team of PMs and BRMs which ensures business analysis, timely and appropriate IT project and demand planning, manages the relationship between business that creates IT value and organizational alignment.
- Partners with country leadership and relevant teams to facilitate effective decision making on existing and roadmap initiatives as well as supporting unit leaders to assess capability maturity.
- Partners with business in defining & setting projects and tasks with Information Technology impact.
- Manages alignment of demands with the whole Business Unit portfolio to the Information Technology budget
- Leads the effort to identify and document IT capability and initiative needs and strategic prioritization into business architecture deliverables.
- Responsible for setting up a proper standardization and prioritization governance on future initiatives across business divisions and functions.
- Provides architectural oversight of projects, ensures requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.
- Prioritizes incoming initiative requests by driving strategic trade-off discussions balancing the needs of the individual business/function, the broader enterprise (region) and optimal IT solutions.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates ideas, projects and opportunities to develop new products, new technologies and business models for the business segments.
- Proactively influences business decisions, and effectively challenge the status quo.
