Talent is a strategic pillar and a key area to succeed with our business and strategy. We are now looking for a Labor Relations Manager to join our HR team! In this role, you will work together with other motivated and experienced HR and business professionals in a rapidly growing business.

In your role, you will be jointly responsible for the handling of all individual labor matters and collective labor issues. HR Labor Relations Manager will deal with the "day-to-day business" general labor inquiries of HR Business partners, shared services units as well as executives, coordinate litigation with external legal experts for all factories, and support the preparation and implementation of collective bargaining issues. Labor Relations Manager works out answers and solutions in close cooperation with the business/union and will teamwork within the global as well as the Hub-Structure in transnational projects. Ensures compliance with legislation and HR policies and compliance standards in the area of functional responsibility.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience with labor relations in a production company.
  • Experience with labor law, union relations, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Turkish.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, self-motivated, customer-focused, strong in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Who prefers to be in operational processes.
  • Completed military service for male applicants.

Your responsibilities

  • Coaches, advises, and mentors all levels of management through employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
  • Support management in the application and implementation of employment laws or regulations and HR-related policies and practices.
  • Creates action plans that include recommendations and solutions to mitigate labor risks.
  • Collaborates with HR teams, managers, and other stakeholders to advise on Company programs and organizational changes.
  • Ensures the responsive service "Labor Advice", both individual and collective, caring as well for social security matters.
  • Prepares and manages out-of-court and procedural correspondence and related support for HR functions and business.
  • Develops and organizes labor law and labor relations education for managers.
  • Responsible for labor relations instructions on a national level.
  • It is the main responsibility for the correct and timely execution of all processes related to blue-collar employees. Prepares the necessary documents, shares them with the HR team for the execution of the transactions and follows them up.
  • Execute blue-collar recruitment, onboarding, and multiskill development processes.
  • Supports in general salary increase negotiation process and other local agreements required.
  • Continuously visits all locations to be able to understand the labor concerns, developments, issues, etc.
  • Listens to requests and complaints from locations and shares them with the related parties and gives feedback to the originator.
  • Participates in HSE meetings at all locations as defined in the local procedures, performing the related tasks.
  • Participates as a steady member of the Disciplinary Committee as defined in the collective labor contract, performing the related tasks.
  • Manages employee concerns escalated from the Integrity Helpline, in response to a range of employee relations concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent future litigations.
  • Supports M&A activities as well as restructuring.
  • Supports and teamwork in global labor relations.
  • Be the contact person of the MESS, Employers’ Union, Labor Union Representatives, and Managers with respect to the Collective Labor Contract questions and clarifications.
  • Manages the administration of Labor Union Representatives.
  • Creates the demand and prepares the specifications of work clothes and shoes, etc. in line with the related documents and legislation.
  • Follows up the collective labor contract requirements and informs the responsible parties for applications, i.e. pay rises, social payments, etc.
