QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are global mining company which has several sites around the world. We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated Laboratory Superintendent for our project in Develi.
Job Profile
- Taking responsibility of establishing the laboratory systems, procedures, and commissioning,
- Taking an active role in laboratory equipment selection,
- Providing trainings (OHS, QC, vocational) for laboratory staff,
- Taking responsivity of accreditation/ISO/ICMC certification processes,
- Preparing technical reports or presentations asked by management,
- Taking an active role in continuous improvement projects related to Laboratory,
- Completing department related works asked by his/her manager,
- As a member of the environmental management system representation team, execute related activities,
- Fulfilling the Health and Safety responsibilities related with his/her jobs which is defined in the attached Health and Safety Responsibilities Standard Operation Procedure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering departments, Master’s Degree will be plus,
- Minimum 8 years of experience of analytical laboratory management,
- Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is plus,
- Fluency in oral and written Turkish and English,
- Good command of MS Office applications,
- Being knowledgeable about Analytical Chemistry,
- Being competent in using atomic absorption device,
- Knowing working principle and using of ICP-OES device and UV/VIS Spectrometer device,
- Having training or being knowledge of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025, Method Validation, Measurement Uncertainty, Analysis Methods and Devices in plus,
- Having ability to report analysis results in accordance with international standards,
- Having experience in the analysis and reporting of column, bottle roll, flotation, and other metallurgical tests,
- Strong sense of analytical thinking, detail-oriented and solution-oriented,
- Having superior time management skills,
- Ability to take responsibility and being a good team player,
- Having strong leadership skills,
- Be an active driver,
- Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
