QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are global mining company which has several sites around the world. We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated Supply Chain & Logistics Manager for our project in Develi.
Job Profile
- Managing with developing Company purchasing strategy,
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain the resources needed to create and maintain an effective supply chain, especially with regards to local purchasing,
- Maximizing the benefits of the contracts and supplier partnerships,
- Reviewing current policy and procedures of Supply Chain and performing revision of those procedures periodically and in case of urgent needs,
- Managing and coordinating contractual process as per approved procedures,
- Ensuring all the purchases meet specifications, pricing and quality, are delivered on time, in full and accurately invoiced against the approved purchase order,
- Ensuring the orders and procurements are accurately documented and recorded,
- Managing domestic and non-domestics logistics process for all material procurements,
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments,
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities,
- Evaluating bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors, according to procedures
- Analyzing market trends and issue periodic reports on lead times and purchase price variances,
- Assisting with ensuring compliance with activities under IIC,
- Performing Supplier/Contractor Pre-Qualification and Post performance activities as per Company policy and procedures,
- Managing and coordinating Inventory MRP Stock Study during the operational phase,
- Implementing 5S Warehouse System,
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports for all supply chain activities,
- Performing Inventory Optimization studies in the operational phase of the inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related departments, mining engineering is preferred,
- Minimum 10 years of business experience in Supply Chain & Logistic, mining experience and/or international experience is strongly plus,
- Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment,
- Fluency in oral and written Turkish and English,
- Experience working with ERP systems, SAP implementation experience is plus,
- Fundamental knowledge of mining materials, standards, and equipment,
- Be an active driver,
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team, working with and influencing key stakeholders of all levels,
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, construct and manage diverse and complex procurement activities with significant value,
- Discretion, confidentiality, discipline, sense of corporate responsibility, good listening skills, persuasive, relationship skills, interpersonal skills, autonomous, are essential qualifications,
- Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
