Logistic Specialist Job Profile
We are global mining company which has several sites around the world. We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated Logistic Specialist for our project in Develi.
Job Profile
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of the company’s best practices and logistics strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance,
- Planning, managing, and evaluating logistics operations with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies,
- Working closely with other departments to coordinate import & export process,
- Being responsible for organization of customs clearance for inbound-outbound deliveries,
- Ensuring processing and adjustment of import documents as commercial, transport and customs document,
- Planning, booking, and coordinating deliveries; monitoring quality, quantity, delivery times and transport costs,
- Delivering solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quantity and service within budgetary requirements and producing relevant reports,
- Negotiating rates with transportation and customs broker companies,
- Being responsible for analysis and implementation of optimal transport modes, routes,
- Being awareness of global and Company HSE rules and apply to all his/her works.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international trade, logistics, business administration,
- Minimum 5 years of similar experience in multinational environment, mining experience is strongly plus,
- Fluent in English in both written and verbal communication,
- Knowledge of international transportation activity, and modes, incoterms,
- Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment,
- Having experience of material management, project logistics and import-export know-how,
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications,
- Experience working with ERP systems,
- Knowledge of custom legislations both in Turkey and international,
- Able to work efficiently in a team environment,
- Analytical thinking, solution-oriented and result and quality-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills,
- Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
