ZF Group company ZF Sachs Turkey, located in Gebze-Kocaeli, producing shock absorbers for vehicles, is looking for a qualified professional for Logistics for its growing organization.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
  • Experience in production logistics optimization systems (eg. Kanban, milkrun, JIT/JIS systems)
  • Fluent English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, preferably SAP
  • Analytical thinking, team work skills, self motivated and well organized
  • No military obligations for male candidates
  • Living/willing to live in Anatolian Side of İstanbul or Gebze


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project, Phase-in / Phase-out, Ramp-up Management

  • Attending the projects as logistics planner.
  • Studying incoming engineering changes / new introductions, clarifying questions and coordination with all specialized corporate functions involved.
  • Copying, adapting and compiling material master data, bill of materials and storage locations in SAP productive system.
  • Making regular analysis of exceeded project deadlines and communicating with the relevant parties.
  • Ordering the new purchase parts from the purchasing department and subsequently deadline pursuit of new parts and communication with the suppliers.
  • Coordination of delivery dates, deciding about special measures if necessary.
  • Establishing communication about the new parts and part changes with relevant logistics, QA, production counterparts.
  • Determining the packagings for incoming parts, semifinished goods and finished goods in coordination with material logistics, customer logistics and production process teams.
  • Determining the handling methodology for these parts and adjusting material master datas accordingly.
  • Controlling and coordinating phase-out of parts both internally and externally in order to minimize the possible obsollecences.
  • Inform relevant department about expected obsolesences in advance.

Logistics Flow Improvement

  • Seek for logistics flow improvement opportunities, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Plan and conduct logistics flow improvement projects together with created project teams.
  • Communicate corporate counterparts to get support if required.
  • Follow up and assure the project deadlines and budgets.
  • Report the advancements regularly.
