The Position

Within DSM Nutritional Products Animal Nutrition and Health, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer for our site at Gebze, Kocaeli.

Your responsibilities include

Define and implement maintenance plans including required spare parts, in co-operation with the team members
Analyze and evaluate maintenance work, production downtime, quality and safety performance, to implement improvement actions
Specifying requests for maintenance from the production department into a technical work plan for executing the maintenance work efficiently and safely
Examine mechanic failures (including trends and historical data) and provide solution
Direct the maintenance technicians in executing the maintenance work
Provide input for the investment year plan
Provide technical maintenance know how in projects on the request of the project leader
Ensure technical documentation to be 'as built' and to be compliant with the applicable regulations
Monitor the development of internal and external guidelines, regulations and standards and ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with these

You will report directly to the Plant (Production) Manager

The Ideal

At least Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, etc. or relevant degree
Good written and oral expression in English
Resides on the Istanbul Anatolian Side or Gebze
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
Experienced in maintenance and reliability engineering, preventive maintenance
Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) qualifications
Team-player, result-oriented, analytical, accurate, responsible and proactive person, have a problem-solving mindset and positive working attitude.
