GENEL NİTELİKLER

Marketing Specialist is directly reporting to Marketing Supervisor. The objective of this function is to work closely with the press members, stylists, Guess & Marciano By Guess stores, wholesale partners and global marketing team members. Also; with the global marketing team develop, implement, establish and monitor strategies that will help to optimize traffic and sales in stores.

  • Promote seasonal collection activities,
  • Retail and Promotional Marketing Analysis of Competitors and the market,
  • Promote awareness of the company’s stores and products,
  • Drive traffic to stores,
  • Increase Retail Sales and work on specific product and category led promotions,
  • Drive positive and engaging experiences for the customer with the GUESS brand at these moments of truth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Marketing Supervisor and the global marketing team to develop the PR & showroom, retail activities and promotions in all markets,
  • Following PR activities and communicate with the press members monthly and weekly. Also; establishing sustainable communication between brand and the fashion stylists,
  • Following global marketing agenda and adapting local market, tracking marketing and media plan,
  • Supporting seasonal collection and store events during the year,
  • Negotiating and working with agencies, influencers, global event team and partners to drive best tools for each marketing project,
  • Implement the production and execution of retail marketing activities in all markets. (GWP, promotions, special projects, store CRM etc),
  • Define and execute the new store opening ad media strategy and execution,
  • Developing and creating communication material (advertising artworks, invites etc.) in collaboration with the inhouse creative team,
  • Dealing with vendors for production of marketing material,
  • Monitoring the implementation of the communication and marketing activities of the licensing partners to ensure accuracy and brand appropriateness as per the guidelines defined by Guess Europe,
  • Monitoring the budget with Marketing supervisor, track costs and investments for the marketing activities,
  • Building relationship with the corporate departments (i.e. Retail, Retail Ops, Finance etc.) to ensure a clear flow of information and that the most up to date information is communicated,
  • Working under strict timeframes and tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing/public relations

· Have experience between 1-3 years in marketing, public relations or communications and/or Retail Marketing

· Be professional, creative and detailed oriented with a strong Marketing and PR skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Strong computer skills: good knowledge of all Microsoft Office Packages is a must, knowledge of Adobe or similar an advantage

· Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and independently

. Verbal & Written Fluent in English is must, additional languages are a plus
