QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:
- Arrange deliveries for the day, assign pick up requests and enter orders in the system
- Dispatch drivers
- Ensure accurate reporting
- Set up appointment freight, manifest shipments, check for expedited shipments, and enter any missed pick-ups
- Dispatch additional daily shipments
- Perform dock and yard checks, ensure freight is not missed and trucks are on the delivery
- Coordinate drivers to back for the second run of deliveries, manifest skeleton, and make linehaul orders
- Maintain communication for status reports on correct loading by unit and timely departures
Requirements:
- Punctuality
- Good with math
- Confident to make phone calls
- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to work under a flexible work schedule
- Team orientation; willing to participate and support all aspects of the operation
- Must be a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and priority management
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Be able to stress management
Working Schedule: 15:00 - 01:00
