QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Headquartered in Istanbul/ Etiler, our company Assan Foods is established in Balikesir Susurluk. Our company was acquired by Kraft Heinz, one of the largest food companies in the world, in 2021. It currently operates as a Kraft Heinz Company.
We are exporting a large product, range composed of tomato paste, ketchup, mayonnaise and various tomato sauces for world cuisines to over 30 countries in 4 continents, adopts pure and clean production as the basic principle.
Tomatoes, which are the raw materials of the products, are raised from hybrid seeds that are not genetically modified, and each phase of the agricultural process is being supervised. The suitability of the soil, the climate and the humidity level are very important for the healthy growth of tomatoes. That’s why we grow our tomatoes in the fields of Susurluk. We harvest them with utmost care when they reach the ideal form and colour by ripening under the sun and we process them immediately in our plant next to the fields.
We are looking for "Packaging Development Specialist” to be employed in our factory at Balıkesir Susurluk. We are waiting for development-oriented and high-energy candidates.
Are you the one?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably at least 4 years of experience in Packaging R&D in the Food Sector or at least 4 years of experience in R&D, Production or Quality in the Food Packaging production sector
- Fluent in spoken and written English language
- Teamworker, strong communication, investigative, open to innovations and learning, follower and result-oriented
- Good command of MS Office applications
- Residing or able to reside in Balıkesir (Bandırma-Susurluk) or Bursa (Karacabey, Mustafakemalpaşa)
Job Description
- Coordinating processes by carrying out packaging development & improvement projects for existing and new products
- To responsible for the specifications of packaging materials of all products, ensuring that the specs are kept accurate and up-to-date.
- To closely follow the developments in the world related to packaging and packaging technologies
- To follow up and report the sample studies of all designed and developed packages
- Developing packaging and packaging solutions in line with innovation strategies and plans
- Developing projects in cooperation with universities
- Developing projects regarding alternative materials and packaging processes, carrying out savings studies
- To reveal and project R&D issues that will contribute to the institution
