GENEL NİTELİKLER

Working in the procurement and logistics team in Energy Solutions/Process Automation/Energy Industries in Istanbul, Turkey, you will be deciding on and implementing plans for local sourcing to achieve business targets and assist regional and global sourcing initiatives. You will assist in the implementation, maintenance and compliance of procurement & logistics activities, applying and implementing standards, tools and processes to ensure good quality, on-time delivery, optimal costs, and sustainability. This position reports to Local Division Manager.


Your responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Supports regional and global strategic sourcing initiatives as required.
  • Applies and implements PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
  • Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
  • Purchasing goods and services according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions Analyze and evaluate bids to determine the optimal value.
  • Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
  • Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.
  • Support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
  • Initiate purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitor, and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
  • Conduct all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensures SAP Ariba global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in SAP Ariba procedure.
  • Identifying proposes and runs optimization initiatives to ensure flawless execution of purchasing process.


Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.
  • Min 3 years experience in the relevant field, working as Buyer or/and Category Manager in a technical systems environment, preferably electrical, automation, instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in Oil, Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power Generation and Water segments would be a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good oral and written communication in both English and Turkish.
