Strategic Procurement Specialist İş İlanı

For our Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions & Services Procurement Group in Kartal, we are searching for a Strategic Procurement Specialist. This role will be leading Strategic Procurement activities on Portfolio Companies - Large Drives (LD) Applications, comprised of demand analysis, market analysis, selection of suppliers, conducting cost effective purchasing negotiations, supplier and contract management, claim management for the supply of project and service materials with involvement at an early stage! Organizing, controlling, monitoring and introducing procurement strategies to ensure maximum contribution to the operating result and optimizing utilization of resources. Active participation in global networking as well as collaboration with other affiliate companies by way of pooling of demands and getting in line with global strategies. Taking role and responsibility as nominated commodity manager, as contact person in-charge of procurement for Large Drives Applications for customer projects!

What are my responsibilities?

Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations to contribute to the profitability of the company,

Preparing offer inquiries, requesting offers from suppliers, analyzing and ensuring the fulfillment of the offers with requirements,

Implementing alternative procurement sources to minimize stock replacement times, inventory levels and costs,

Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy,

Defining procurement strategies to ensure long-term, cost-effective supply of materials and monitoring the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio,

Maintain intensive regular contact with internal/external interface partners to understand developments (market, demand, etc.) and exert the appropriate influence,

Systematic forwarding of relevant supply chain information (e.g. For the project team, procurement management team),

Define concepts to avoid risk and warrant costs,

Analyzing scope of supply and customer contract agreements, carrying out risk analyses and introducing recommendations to prepare and complete negotiations with suppliers (back-to-back where appropriate),

If applicable analyzing sales and operations planning in respect of starting new projects, assessing material costs within the whole project process in order to ensure the involvement of procurement,

Analyzing and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies,

Undertake supplier management (selection/qualification, evaluation, auditing, development) to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain,

Organize and implement regional and cross-regional bundling of the demands of the different groups/sites and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Proven experience in various procurement functions,
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required,
• Very good command of Turkish & English. (German is an asset),
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications,
• Knowledge of contract law,
• Technical knowledge in procurement of electrical materials, electromechanical materials and services (i.e. LV Cabinets, Cables, Cable Trays, Transformers, Lighting Equipment, Fire Detection, CCTV, UPS, Lightning & Earthing Equipment, Field Instruments, Installation & Installation Materials, HVAC, Coils, Wires, Insulation Materials, Bearings, Mechanical Repairs and Balancing etc.),
• Change orientation, customer at the core, good communication and negotiation skills are required.
