Danfoss Power Solutions has an opening for a Product Engineer
Product Engineer will be expected to use engineering technical expertise and project management knowledge to carry out third part approval certification process besides new product development and R & D Center projects.
This role will be responsible for establishing project inspection criteria, coordinating the review of project designs and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads and participates in third part approval certification projects.
- Initiates the renewal or new certification projects. Works with agency for certificate approval.
- Engages in global type approval projects.
- Follows the engineering standard documentation lists, replacements and supply of standards.
- Leads and participates in engineering projects, product design trials, developments and improvements.
- Prepares specifications, engineering standards, technical documents.
- Works together with production, sales, procurement and quality departments.
- Follows the design bill of material control and takes responsibilities of product improvement projects.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering Preferred
- Typically has 1 to 3 years of experience
- Good level of English both verbally and in writing
- Chemical, Industrial, Material or Mechnical Engineering.
- MS Ofice, MS Project, Minitab, Green Belt Six Sigma, IATF 16949 knowledge preferred
