QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a production engineer to join our production facility located in Kocaeli. The facility is responsible for the production of RVM Systems reverse vending machines.
The role has long-term expectations on know-how transfer for production to Turkey for the Turkish deposit refund scheme.
RVM Systems operates two brands - RVM Systems (reverse vending machines) and Anker Andersen (automatic sorting solutions). We are a long-term technology partner to the largest deposit return scheme markets globally. We are privately owned. Last year our machines collected 11.5 billion used beverage containers globally, equivalent of 100 billion smartphones charged and 300 million liters of oil saved! Ahead of a national rollout of a deposit return scheme in Turkey, we are looking into making several recruitments to extend our team.
Responsibilities:
· Forming the product tree and defining the production guidelines
· Plan production equipment, layout, workflow, accidental prevention measures, and the respective processes with guidelines of production.
· Plan the production infrastructure and manufacturing processes of assembly & pre-production areas for the main product platform
· Create the production drawings & work orders
· Preparation of field manuals
· Seeking alternative suppliers based on the materials in the product tree
· Lead overall ramp-up phase of new production & test equipment, or production launch of new products and ensures life cycle support.
· Development of process Key Performance Indicators and system for their monitoring.
· Carry out production according to the defined standards of a process and taking actions to improve the process,
· Determine training needs of foremen, operator, technician, and supplier
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably in Industrial, System, Production, Mechanical, Electronics departments etc.)
· 1-3 years of experience in production know-how development, quality management, production planning, new product implementation, and integration into the manufacturing system
· Good knowledge in MS Office programs and ERP applications
· Experience with CAD tools and 3D drawings (Solidworks, Autocad, etc.)
· Ability to work independently and in teams
· Based in İstanbul Asian Side or Kocaeli
Excellent command of English
