QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We as VESTNES TURKEY a part of VESTNES NORWAY AS group companies looking for talented Purchase and Logistic Responsible.

Our new colleague to handle all international and domestic purchasing and logistic needs for the specific projects.

The Procurement Responsible will work acc. to directives of Project Management.


This position is needed below responsibilities;


  1. Procurement; inclusive the international and domestic operations, purchase, logistics, customs, and domestic purchase.
  2. High nagotiation skills
  3. Converting purchase requisitions of project requirements to purchase orders in ERP System, following up change of orders, receiving order confirmations and giving relevant feedback to relevant parties,
  4. Coordinating local and international transport, meeting the confirmed delivery dates of all purchase orders,
  5. Completing required documentation for transporting and giving necessary instructions for payment and custom clearing
  6. Ensuring the materials on time, complete and in conformity with required conditions & specifications,
  7. Coordinating return process of defective materials or the materials that are not in the required specifications, ensuring that replacement material is procured on time,
  8. Preparing order follow-up reports and distributing these reports periodically to all relevant groups,
  9. Responding information demands of project management team,
  10. Supporting the projects for optimizing the logistics cost, inventory costs, ensuring the project costs are booked on time,
  11. Monitoring the performance of suppliers, evaluating suppliers’ delivery performances continuously giving feedback to strategic buyer and management.
  12. Reporting in a daily, weekly, monthly basis routine on logistic, supply and supplier payment flow.

  13. RFI progress for domestic and internation purchases.

  14. Payments with suppliers follow up.

  15. Stock management.


Qualifications For This Job:

  1. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistic related departments.
  2. Project Management Procurement, Logistic, ERP and Import & Export know-how
  3. Very Good Command of English,
  4. Proficiency in MS Office Applications,
  5. Analytical Thinking, Result and Quality oriented approach and good interpersonal skills are required,
  6. Military service should be completed for male candidates,
  7. No obligation for travel and driving licence required.
