Responsible for negotiation and procurement of direct materials,
Responsible for development of suppliers, preparation of contracts and blanket purchase orders for key purchases,
To support and contribute to the company's cost reduction initiatives,
To review facility requirements and generate procurement strategies efficiently,
To create, support, and contribute to Stackpole cost reduction opportunities,
Responsible for the negotiation and maintenance of costs and payment terms with the supply base,
To evaluate the buy and determine the appropriateness of which procurement tool will be required, such as a supply agreement, contract, purchase order, or blanket order,
Responsible for the development of a supply base for strategic items critical to the ongoing functioning of the plant while still maintaining the customs requirements for Free Trade Zone,
To operate and maintain all systems and objectives as defined by the facility quality policy and espousing our Stackpole Quality Commitment.
Your Profile…
A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Metallurgy and Materials Engineering,
Requires perfect communication skills in English, including speaking and writing,
Purchasing experience based on preferably OEM customer environment,
Knowledge of legal aspects and contracts of purchasing,
Good understanding of automotive systems, such as IATF 16949,
Knowledge of various technical areas
Complete understanding of purchasing systems and practices, including strong negotiation abilities,
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with a technical attitude,
Strong PC competency demonstrated (Word, Excel, PPS, etc.)
