Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in engineering from a reputable university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, must have experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Knowledge of procurement ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, planning and organizational skills
- Technical knowledge and experience in reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Fluent in English
Job Description
- Managing the daily indirect and/or direct procurement activities.
- Ensuring that procurement is completed at a consistently high standard, within budget, and that objectives are met on time, suiting the company's vision and objectives
- Building efficient and effective relationships with vendors with the intent of a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship, with a focus on key suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
- Identifying cost saving potentials and implementations of such plans on assigned category with risk management
- Driving the development of supplier negotiation strategy and pricing negotiations.
