Quality Control Engineer İş İlanı

Smart Infrastructure Distribution Systems (SI DS) Medium Voltage Switchgear Factory (Gebze) is the lead factory for air insulated switchgears (AIS) in Siemens World and exporting more than 80 countries worldwide! We are searching for a Low Voltage Quality Control Engineer in our Quality Control Team! The role will support quality control activities for LV switchgears in Gebze Factory.

What are my responsibilities?

Being the contact person for the Project Managers and production related departments during the routine tests.

Supporting low voltage switchboards quality control department and implementation of quality control operations in accordance to valid regulations.

Leading interactions with related parties within DS factory and other partners.

Making risk analysis studies within quality scope.

Handling customer complaints by analyzing root causes, implementing CAPA studies.

Supporting continuous improvement activities in terms of process improvement.

Supporting customer acceptance test activities related to FAT scope.

Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

Ensuring alignment to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.

Reporting Key Performance Indicators related to QC processes.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Min 2 years’ experience in low and medium voltage products, IEC standards and related tests applied in AIS.
• Knowledge of DS portfolio will be an asset.
• Knowledge of products and processes of the located factory/operation.
• Speaking Turkish & English is a must, German is an asset.
• Strong communication skills.
