Turkey HR Manager

About the role

The Turkey HR Manager is a full hands-on role providing HR service and full employee life-cycle solutions across Turkey.

In this role you will work with senior management and global and local HR teams to drive the business forward and implement cross organizational processes while providing ongoing HR service to employees and managers.

You will work together with all stakeholders global and local to develop, manage and implement HR processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management etc. while supporting organizational initiatives. Like any other big corporate we stay agile to support our business goals.

This is a key position in the HR organization and is be part of the territory Leadership team.

With your HR professionalism and influencing skills you are responsible for:

    • Provide high level of people solution based on proven HR knowledge, local employment practices and company policies and guidelines.
    • Ensure optimal HR service and employee life-cycle solutions to employees and managers (hire to retire)
    • Manage annual processes
    • Build and support learning and development plans based on corporate guidelines, tools and opportunities
    • Ensure implementation of global people strategy and global initiatives
    • Lead Labor relations strategy and consultation (where relevant)
    • Alignment with business HRBPs and other HRMs, to ensure full coordination of the global plan & knowledge sharing.

ICL is a global company with multi region spread. Our Turkey geography consists of 1 head office 1 production plant and 1 sales offices

You will report to the EU & Pacific Regional HR Director.

Skills & Requirements:

We are looking for an HR Manager that enables a people centric culture driven by integrity, accountability and empowerment which delivers continuous success and growth for all.

About you:

  • Vast Experience in HR practices. Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Excellent Knowledge of: Local employment law, improving employee engagement and enablement programs, performance management and succession planning.
  • Experience with HR Information systems, like SuccessFactors
  • Critical thinker, ability to manage complexity and multiple business culture and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize workload as needed.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work well under pressure in a matrix organization
  • Resilient and result driven

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Turkish are a must)
