QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Min. 5-7 years of experience in related area (e-commerce, category development/management, sales, insight, commercial etc.)
At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably at a pure player retailer
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Very strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect the dots between various data sources to deliver clear outlook scenarios along with implications for the business.
Proven influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of stakeholders and effectively engage them to obtain commitment and drive impact.
Well evidenced leadership and influencing skills and the ability to influence a complex multi-functional matrix as well as leading a direct team.
Expertise and experience in strategic planning processes to deliver insight-led plans that create shopper, category and PepsiCo advantage E.g. Business Planning / Joint Business Planning.
Experience of working for, or with retailers/suppliers to deliver tangible results
Excellent knowledge of both continuous data and ad hoc shopper research, with a highly developed knowledge of CRM or loyalty card data

As a Category Manager for our fastest growing channel, you'll be responsible for the execution of the agenda for internal & external Category Advisory, integrating Shopper & Customer Insights, leveraging PepsiCo's brands across the channel and segments, driving multi-category growth. The role will be responsible of e-commerce channel.

If you join our team, below job items will be in your scope of work:

Customer Category Development Partnership:

  • Take active role in customer engagement process to create advantaged joint value with key customers.
  • Strengthen "Trusted Category Advisor" position at the key customers to drive visibility and growth.
  • Work with e-commerce sales and Insights teams to utilize market/customer/shopper data in order to define forward-looking category opportunities. Quantify size of the opportunity and key levers and solutions to capture it.
  • Support Category Manager during long term Category Vision development in order to bring the voice of customer / shopper, to define actions aligned with strategy and activate plans with customers and follow up the time plan for short/mid-term actions.
  • Develop category/new product selling stories and customize them by key retailers/channels and is based on their store footprint and shopper profiles / missions.


Develop & Cascade Perfect eStore Elements:

  • Work with e-commerce sales, digital and brand marketing teams to define Perfect eStore blueprint covering assortment, content and visibility tailored to subchannels and shopper missions to drive total category revenue.


Support Ad-Hoc Shopper Insights Creation:

  • Fuel Shopper Insights & Business Analytics team with key business questions and research briefs to execute bespoke research or data analysis.
  • Design, execute and track A/B tests at customers to improve Shopper Value Offer in the frame of Long Term collaboration.
