We're looking for a Sales Engineer located in Turkey area, to join our Turkey Industry Services Business Line Sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Metallurgical and Materials or Mechanical Engineer,
  • Minimum 5 years Sales or Project Specialist related experience, preferably in an EPC or Manufacturer (O&G, Chemical, Power, Construction..) & Minimum 2 years of experience in sales,
  • Great verbal and written communication skills (in English)
  • Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven
  • Team player
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Preferably experienced in sales of services or commodity trade
  • Driving license with active driving skills,
  • Knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),
  • Result oriented & strong communication skills.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The core responsibility of this role is to contribute to the growth of Sales for Intertek’s Industry services on Turkey market. This will involve developing and executing business plans and strategies to attract new and retain & grow existing clients. The role also includes working with Marketing and other Business Development team members to promote strategic areas of the business and identify new revenue streams.

  • Prepare and execute sales plan in line with Company’s sales objectives and policy.
  • In accordance with the market analysis, the Sales Engineer shall create a local strategy that explains thebusiness model or business plan associated with winning the majority of the targeted work.
  • Responsible for developing business opportunities in the defined area (hunting) and for maintaining existing customers (farming), through effective client research, prospecting and networking.
  • Develop and maintain personal knowledge of priority sectors; market trends and routes to market for improved effectiveness within a sales support function.
  • Drive complex deals from technical definition trough budgeting and proposal to order.
  • Approach the customer in a cross-selling perspective, promoting synergies with other business lines.
  • Prepare monthly sales reporting, record customer interactions and opportunities into the I-connect. The Sales Engineer shall provide follow up investigation and report on all bids, quotes, or tenders to ascertain the award status and the reasons affecting clients’ decisions. The success rate of all bids shall be recorded and evaluated periodically.
  • Co-operate in all matters relating to the proper functioning of the Company Quality System i.e. Internal Reviews, Audits etc. and to report, in a timely manner any errors or omissions found in the Company issued documentation (assignments, work instructions, specifications /standards, procedures, etc) or knowledge of customer dissatisfaction.
