Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent English verbal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales and call centre
  • University degree
  • Proficient level of computer literacy in Microsoft packages
  • Numerate and analytical to produce reports
  • Ability to manage multi projects, organise and prioritise
  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate, systematic and methodical
  • Self-motivated, driven and the desire to help
  • Ability to work to strict and tight deadlines whilst remaining calm when under pressure


Key Objective:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination and execution of the telesales processes critical in growing and maintaining productive customer relations and sales. Highly motivated and competitive self starter with excellent English verbal and written skills who takes the initiative with minimal supervision and is an exceptionally organised, detailed and proficient team leader committed to superior service and exceptional people person.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach and lead a team of internal and external telesales agents to provide direction, support and motivation to meet and exceed agreed goals and targets.
  • Trained and educated in various sales techniques and strategies. Monitor those that work most effectively to acquire registrations and purchase success.
  • Effectively communicate and encourage team sales agents about new products, promotions and initiatives.
  • Provide outstanding sales service to promote and support key accounts and call the allocated number of businesses to generate new sales and exceed sales growth targets.
  • Train sales agents to continually assess customer requirements and knowledge of Avansas products and services to furnish information and product knowledge to individual customer needs.
  • Coach and train sales team on processes and new systems to continually improve and optimise results and efficiencies.
  • Collect potential customer data and record in a timely accurate fashion.
  • Understand and analyse the needs of the customer to offer suitable solutions which exceed expectations.
  • Identify and report competitor initiatives, products and prices to the business to help advise and inform business planning.
  • Help Sales Manager to prepare detailed reports of operations and performance for review by the business.
  • Prioritise, schedule and supervise day to day work assignments and schedules
  • Ensure all required procedural documents, records and reports are accurate and timely, such as calls, appointments, sales, CRM input.
  • Step in as needed for managerial procedures.
  • Interview and help evaluate potential sales team members that will fit well within the team, to ensure high quality and performance .
