QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What will you do?

Working within software development teams to develop insurance system software with the main responsibility of enabling and coaching teams to achieve committed goals and to constantly improve the team's performance guiding the team along all relevant process steps and ensuring that the team deliverables are in quality and compliant to the defined process framework,

Supporting and coaching the team in removing or escalating impediments that the team cannot solve internally,

Sustaining timely and constructive cooperation of the team with the product owner and other stakeholders,

Increasing team performance and value orientation by fostering reflection and continuous learning,

Filling Scrum Master role in one or more than team(s) which typically formed around 7 member(s) each including Architects, Product Owners, Developers and Testers

Ensuring correct adoption and application of agile practices in the project and making adjustments as necessary

Managing the project with Agile Scrum methodology and through its best practices such as the sprint ceremonies, daily monitoring / reviewing, and building tangible deliverables in each sprint

Supporting product owner with product backlog generation and transforms all customer requirements into a roadmap

Practicing continuous improvement on the scrum processes, all kinds of workflows, communication paths, and methodologies

Organizing and moderating sprint planning sessions and supporting the project team to decompose the stories into technical tasks

Tracking project risks closely and obtaining regular feedback from related parties, defining and assigning preventive actions, adjusting the backlog with risk response strategies/actions

Ensuring quick resolution and communication of all issues, risks, and action items

Help teams understand the importance of transparency, radiating information within and outside the team

What are we looking for?

Preferably graduated from Engineering departments of Universities (Computer, Electronics, Industry or Mathematics)

Minimum 7 years of experience in complex software development projects and methodologies

Having a strong Agile background with at least 3 years of experience in both experienced and novice teams is a must

Have Agile expertise by understanding and applying the Scrum framework and Kanban practices is a must( DoD, Backlog Refinement, Tasks, Backlog Tracking&Metrics, Velocity, User Story, CFD, WIP, Lead&Cycle Time...)

Detail-oriented and resourceful attitude with the ability to manage shifting priorities between several projects

Knowledgeable and experienced in metering, KPI/metric assessments, and management reporting

Excellent communication, coaching, and motivating skills

Experienced in preparing training and workshop materials

Experience in interpreting and reporting analysis data

Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills, ability to manage customer priorities along with stakeholder interests and advise clients on possible solutions and outcomes about project issues

Ability to communicate effectively with client’s C-Level and executives, manage and escalate project risks to reach project goals

Experience in scaling agile teams and in scaled agile methodologies like Nexus or LeSS is an advantage

Have a skilled facilitator with the ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of the team

Certified in Agile practices (PSM/CSM/KMP …)

Experience in using ALM tools for tracking agile processes (e.g. JIRA)
