Job Description
- Closely cooperating with other departments and manage procurement process of goods, services and equipment
- Implement direct purchasing cycle
- Take a role in standardization of materials, equipment, etc. and contracts by categories
- Take a role in realization of Vendor Categorization and Supplier Management.
- Comparing and selecting the optimum supplier and offer considering technical evaluation, price, quality and logistics
- Defining purchasing strategy and making price negotiations
- Follow up Project, standardization, ERP and KPI management
- Following the sector closely and developing supplier portfolio.
- Making framework agreements for continues purchases.
- Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement by Performing regular performance
- Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets. Defining purchasing strategy and making price negotiations
- Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements
- Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, contract management and vendor relations (metals and mining experience is a plus)
- Self-motivated
- Versatile and resilient
- Able to work flexible working times
- Fluent in Turkish and English, Russian is a plus
- Patient, positive, resilient and solution focused
- Able to work under pressure and timely.
