Turkey’s leading building material manufacturer Çimsa is operating with its 5 integrated plants in Mersin, Eskişehir, Kayseri, Niğde, and Afyonkarahisar, a grinding facility in Ankara.

As one of the first two brands in the world in white cement, Çimsa is an international cement manufacturer with its terminals in Houston (USA), Hamburg (Germany), Trieste (Italy), Sevilla and Alicante (Spain), Famagusta (T.R.N.C.), Constanza (Romania) and Novorossiysk (Russia). In the second quarter of 2019, Çimsa signed the agreement for the acquisition of Buñol, the white cement plant with Europe's most advanced production technology.

For our growing organization, we are looking for a Strategic Planning Specialist/Executive in our Istanbul office with following qualifications and skills:

Job Description

Contributing to planning and directing of company’s medium-long term strategic roadmap and business planning,
Closely monitoring both macro-economic and sectoral global trends and driving results for new business development opportunities and company-specific strategies and business plans,
Conducting market research and competitive environment analysis for ongoing business operations,
Leading the preparation of periodic & ad-hoc analysis reports and management presentations,
Taking an active role in the preparation of detailed strategic and business plans as well as feasibility studies for both new and current operations.

Qualifications

Background: Industrial engineering, Business Administration, Economics à MBA is a plus,
Minimum 3 (Specialist) / 7 (Executive) years of experience,
Cement market experience is plus,
Having worked at manufacturing companies is a plus,
Proactive approach and result oriented skills, drive for superior results,
High dedication, commitment and flexibility,
Communication skills,
Ability to function within cross-functional teams,
Open minded, innovative thinker,
Macro picture understanding but also high attention to details,
Solid experience in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint à strong reporting and presentation skills are must,
Knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis and financial planning (P&L, valuation),
Fluent in English (written and verbal communications skills),
Self – initiative, analytic, curious,
Consulting firm background is plus (from 4Ps).
