QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Kaplankaya presents a mosaic of architecture, history and art, and is within easy reach many famed archaeological sites. There are 141 guestrooms including six suites (75 in the main building and 66 Ridge Villas), all boasting stunning views to the Aegean Sea. Scope

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the incoming calls during the shift and administrative work.
  • Neatly and legibly, record all guest complaints, unusual occurrences in the Duty Manager book.
  • Ensure the efficient provision of telephone services, including long distance and local calls.
  • Ensure courtesy in handling telephone calls.
  • Answer, record, log and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns in accordance with the highest quality of service, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Operate telephone switchboard station and utilize property management systems as to provide high quality service to both internal and external guests.
  • Test and provide simple repairs to telephone operating equipment to ensure the resort’s communication systems remain in good working order.
  • Follow up with internal and external guests to ensure dispatched requests have been completed properly.
  • Utilize telephone switchboards and property management systems to process requests for wake up calls, screening calls, do not disturb, call forwarding, conference calls, non-registered guest calls, and emergency calls, as well as for guest requests, for both internal and external guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints over the phone, or refer to superiors if necessary.
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
  • Provide references to subordinates when required and to resolve problems required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Tourism High School degree.
  • Excellent command on spoken English.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Experienced candidates are preferred.
  • Previous luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on sliding shift.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
