QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
TPI is the largest U.S.-based independent manufacturer of composite wind blades for the high-growth wind energy market supporting global wind turbine manufacturers.TPI operates composite products manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented engineerto join us as a “EHS Engineer” within EHS Department. The role is based in Menemen, İzmir.
What will be your contributions:
- University graduate, preferably from Mechanical Engineering or other engineering departments,
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and lean principles
- Good knowledge on Tooling Management
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
- At least 3 years experience as an EH&S Engineer,
- Good knowledge on health and safety and environmental legislations and requirements,
- No travel restrictions,
- Exempt from military for male candidates,
- Excellent OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management skills,
- Excellent ISO 14001 Environmental Management skills,
- C or B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security,
- Experience and very good knowledge of MS Office applications,
- Be sensitive to the natural environment and health & safety concerns and the priorities to be addressed,
- Having strong problem solving skills and Project Management skills.
What will be decisive:
- Develop Environment, Health & Safety procedures, programs and systems at our plant,
- Conduct & manage Health & Safety training for all site personnel,
- Participate in daily and weekly safety meetings,
- Conduct & manage self-assessments to ensure compliance with all local regulations and company standards,
- Assist operations personnel in developing a knowledge base for site compliance,
- Coordinate with all levels of the facility to determine EH&S solutions for business issues on a day-to-day basis,
- Perform risk assessments about current and potential circumstances, especially on tooling,
- Maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- To support company for any kind of Permitting Processes,
- To make any kind of legal and regulatory reporting requirements within the organisation.
