QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Assignments
1. Works as QA/QC Engineering on pre-construction and construction works of Wind and Solar Projects
2. Manages third parties, including consultants and subcontractors involved in engineering and pre-construction activities
3. Assists engineering department on assessment of access roads, ground conditions, and constructability of potential wind and solar project sites
4. Follows up preliminary and final electrical/civil design and approval stages of wind and solar power plants
5. Follows up on pre-construction works of grid connection lines of wind and solar power plants
6. Maintains technical interaction with engineering, technical and development teams, and external consultants
7. Acquires knowledge of local and international EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance by coordinating with EHS Manager/Supervisor
8. Optimizes the CAPEX budgets of the projects to reflect the latest cost changes in the market
Requested skills
1. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (preferably Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical)
2. Minimum 3 years experience in development, construction, installation, and commissioning of wind and solar projects
3. Operational wind farm experience is a plus.
4. Experienced in coordinating with third parties included in the development, construction, and commissioning stages of wind and solar projects such as official entities, lenders, advisors, sub-contractors, etc.
5. Preferably experienced in executing road works, earthworks, concrete works, and related site & lab tests in wind farm construction.
6. Excellent command of English both in written and spoken
7. Familiarity working with multinationals and English-speaking environment
8. Broad knowledge of the laws and legislation in the field of renewable energy, especially wind and solar
9. Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems, work control procedures, all in the context of wind and solar plants
