QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Shaya was founded in 2002 by the Kuwait-based Alshaya Group as an investment in the Turkish market. Shaya's franchise portfolio includes Bath and Body Works, Le Pain Quotidien, Pinkberry, Shake Shack, Starbucks, The Body Shop, Victoria's Secret and Victoria's Secret Beauty & Accessories in Turkey. Shaya, which operates with a corporate culture that rewards "Think Big," "Act Small," and "Be You", is currently looking for Operations Manager to join its Starbucks division.


Tactical and focused on day-to-day Operations. Overseeing 80-120 stores in a defined market with up to min. six direct reports (District Managers). Managing the P&L with dedicated focus on execution of the Brand and company strategy/guidelines. Ensure better store visibility and coverage.


  • Responsible for the management and delivery of region’s sales, P&L and operations excellence targets,
  • Plans and executes strategies to increase sales whilst controlling operational costs within the assigned region,
  • Ensuring the execution and compliance of the existing Brand and company standards
  • Proactively searches for and executes opportunities for growth and expansion within region. Plans new store openning in the region,
  • Headcount planning and team stability, overseeing the proper application of the training processes,carry out disciplinary counsiling,
  • Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members, challenges and inspires them to achieve results,
  • Follow up the district's talent pools and creating the succession plans for District Manager level,
  • Works with other functional teams and departments to ensure all functional activity meets the requirements & the needs of the operations,
  • Leads/collaborates with key cross functional projects and working parties to enhance the customer experience and to drive business growth & profitability.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree required, master degree is a plus,
  • Progressive experience (approx. 10 years) managing in multi-unit operations in Retail, F&B or FMCG organizations,
  • Team management experience (managing a team of mid-managers),
  • Excellent financial/data analysis skills, and profit & loss responsibility,
  • Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills,
  • Market development experience,
  • Customer focused and result-oriented,
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and writing,
  • Strong inherent desire to continue to learn, develop and grow,
  • Excellent command of English,
  • Proficiency in MS Office,
  • Have no restriction to travel.
