We are searching for an Environment Health and Safety Specialist to support our Manufacturing operation based in Esenyurt/Istanbul. The main responsibilities and expected skills and competencies for successful incumbents will be as follows:
Main responsibilities:
*Coordinate the work in regards to Safety, Health & Sustainability on the site.
*Ensure safety standards maintained and continuously improved at operational level.
*Manage/Advise on the safety and environment related requests from the customers.
*Making daily site tours to deal with HSE issues dynamically.
*Plan and organize safety trainings and workshops.
*To be the first point of contact for all safety related matters for employees.
*Conduct legal requirements audits and ensure all requirements fully met.
*Run regional HSE campaigns and initiatives on site.
*Handle all reporting and documentation related to HSE.
*Work with company doctor and environmental consultant health and environment related aspects.
Expected Skills and Competencies:
* University degree with C class HSE Professional Certification
*Advanced level of English
*At least 2 years of experience in similar role within a manufacturing environment.
*Good facilitation, mediation skills.
*Enjoys to be in a manufacturing atmosphere, dynamic
