QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an HSE Manager for our global client operating in airport industry.
Contribute to the provision of quality services by providing Health & Safety support for the Company in a professional and efficient manner which reflects and enhances the project objectives. The HSE Officer will promote Safety culture among the 50 employees of the team, including electromechanical technicians, engineers and admin staff.
MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
- Establish and maintain Health & Safety procedures.
- Keep track of H&S records.
- Train employees in H&S principles and promote safe behavior at site.
- Organizing regular toolbox talks.
- Provide guidelines to execute the work in a safe way.
- Source and deliver the PPE and collective protections at site.
- Survey work execution, monitor and report sensitive parameters.
- Conducting H&S inspections.
- Drafting Risk Analysis about eventually new activities of the team.
- Recording and reporting HSE performance both to the HQ and to the Client.
Education / Qualifications
- Class A/B Health & Safety degree valid in Turkey.
- A technical vocation training or a bachelor’s degree in engineering will be considered a plus.
- Environmental Engineer.
Specific knowledge and skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proactive.
- Punctual.
- Reliable.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- High personal and result-oriented drive.
- Team worker skills.
Previous Experience
- Minimum 3 – 4 years’ in a similar position.
- Experience within the construction industry.
Languages
- Fluent in English and Turkish. High communicational and negotiation skills - oral & written and also technical English.
