QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Koç University Information Technologies Directorate will be hiring a Digital Workplace Specialist with the below mentioned qualifications:

Digital Workplace Specialist as Koç University digital workspace subject matter expert will be responsible for delivering high-quality office productivity and information technologies tools, transforming the way of digital work in the organisation and increasing the digital literacy of users.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Computer Science, Information Technology etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields
  • Strong knowledge in Office 365 or Google Workspace in a similar role
  • Tools Expertise in Google workspace and Microsoft Office 365 covering OneDrive, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Planner, Stream. As well as Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (i.e. Microsoft 365 Certified) preferred
  • ITIL Service Management awareness/accreditation
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 (Information Security)
  • End-user computing, client deployment and configurations
  • High communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong in reporting, business follow-up and analysis
  • Excellent command of English

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide expertise and guidance on the potential use of all relevant Office 365 or Google Workspace applications within the Business
  • Design best practices for the use of all relevant Office 365 products. O365 is primary the base, but the scope is not restrictive. Tools can be expanded to Office 365 Integrated Add on Tools that fit the Digital Workplace agenda. O365 Specialist / Digital Workplace Lead will hold the Portfolio Ownership role to manage and drive the Digital Workplace Toolset
  • Identify business productivity initiatives that could be met by leveraging digital O365 potential on Process Automation and Workflows
  • Work with various teams to understand their requirements and provide advice on additional features to improve existing team efficiencies
  • Updating internal administrative systems, including but not limited to technical documentation, system diagrams and help manuals, ensuring that all team members can support and administer the systems
  • Design and propose solutions to critical objectives, including relevant business cases as required
  • Work closely with the Service Desk to identify problems by tracking and examining tickets and requests that could be resolved with Digital Workplace solutions
  • Stay up to date with new features and products in the Digital Workplace portfolio and identify gaps in Digital Workplace offerings
  • Proactively support and maintain effective user relationships by educating clients on system capabilities, including adoption services
