JUNIOR / PRODUCT MANAGER (NEW PROJECT)

We are looking for a Junior / Product Manager for our Levent office in Istanbul.

Reports to: Brand Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for marketing initiatives to launch the brand and ongoing new product launches. Driving the new business with excellence is key. Responsible for the qualitative 360 plan to grow the brand by working with other team members & departments. Planning and execution, coordination & evaluation of marketing & trade marketing activities and projects (incl. innovation, portfolio management, activation, promotion, in-store communication, pricing, budgeting, category management) .
Also responsible for growing category knowledge (growth drivers, shopping habits) among Customer Development.

The person must interface with internal and external business partners to ensure that business objectives are met and aligned with the Brand’s goals.

YOUR ROLE

  • As a product manager you’ll act as owner of your product: you’ll be working with your manager to set a clear vision that is aligned with the brand strategy, smart roadmap and ambitious targets, and report. Develop category and subcategory strategies by analysing the market: managing brand & product assortment, margin, pricing, sales and promotions
  • Supporting in the creation of brand and product positioning
  • Creating annual plan for marketing activities and manage their implementations with stakeholders
  • Preparing and managing the marketing budget with Brand Manager
  • Organizing regular visits for the key accounts and inviting them to events, training meetings and similar organizations.
  • Supporting the sales team by planning presentations
  • Planning meetings or events with relevant customers to introduce the brand or new products
  • Focusing on innovations within the market and being aware of the competition.
  • Preparing new product concepts in partnership with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Creative and Purchasing. Present to & gain buy in from senior leadership.
  • Manage strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop launch strategies, go-to-market strategies focused on the consumer journey to include digital first mindset
  • Educating the sales team for newly released products and determining the target customer group to develop a long-term relationship with them.
  • Contributing to brand communication strategy by being part of creating local communication assets and realizing digital transformation on media planning
  • Leading all agency partners for Integrated Marketing Communication process of the brand and shooting plan
  • Preparing contents with agency for social media platforms and websites
  • Organizing and following up printed materials (boxes, catalogues etc.)
  • Working on the VM plan and executing
  • Working on the creative design for the store displays according to country demands
  • Organizing international & local sector trade shows, events, festivals with 3rd parties or cross functional department. Attend the trade shows, be the owner of the brand, represent the brand.
  • Creating and leading creative assets library (pack shots, product descriptions, mock ups, online assets, visual merchandising guidelines, education guidelines etc.).
  • Remaining relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing; personal care category experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent command of English
  • Eager to learn, determined, achievement and result oriented multi-tasker with high energy level
  • Possess a strong track record of managing multiple complex projects involving cross-functional teams
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Problem solver with strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
