QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer for our global customer operates in food industry /FMCG sector.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Champion safe working practice ensuring works carried out under the control of the engineer meets current legislation and standards.
Ensure works carried out under the control of the engineer meet all current quality and food safety legislation and standards.
Assign maintenance tasks to designated craft teams.
Ensure maintenance execution is to schedule by following good planning practice and monitoring task completion.
Identify and plan to eliminate any factors inhibiting the maintenance plan execution.
Manage the plant shutdown engineering activity by collaboration with the shift management team for out of hour’s activity.
Support the plant operations team to resolve equipment issues impacting plant performance, through the escalation process.
Responsible for managing the time and attendance and performance of their assigned craft team.
Maintaining and controlling stock management for spare parts of existing machinery.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar fields would be preferred.
Engineering experience within the food industry.
Language skills - English. (Required)
Good organizational and planning skills with the flexibility to adapt to operational priorities.
Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team on a day to day basis.
Computer literate with great knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
Experience with SAP.
