We are looking for an "Order & Logistics Officer" for our client Xylem Turkey, a leading global water technology company.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinating the order progress with the suppliers, forwarders, warehouse and finance, inform the related business units for deliveries,
- Organizing product shipments domestically and internationally, tracking shipments to ensure the arrival at destinations in a precise and timely manner,
- Preparing reports for the status of the orders,
- Preparing and processing all documents and permits, maintaining records of all transactions, assessing the products' qualities for import and export,
- Ensuring necessary communication with and conducting correspondence,
- Working with suppliers and conducting on a daily basis answering questions relate to entry processing and crossing procedures,
- Following up current customs legislations, maintains and files all documents/records for legal purposes,
- Letter of credit handling: Review of L/C requirements. Preparation and management of documents required under L/C for presentation to bank
- Assisting in checking and evaluating forwarder's billing before handing over to Finance.
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Foreign Trade or International Trade),
- Min. 2 years of experience in the field of import-export,
- Experienced in customs clearance, logistics and operation processes,
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data,
- Fluent in English,
- Technical knowledge / experience,
- High level of analytical skills, critical thinking and ability in simplifying of complex issues.
