QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

OUTSIDE SALES COORDINATOR

Job Purpose

Deliver Sales Budgets targets as agreed with the Manager and Account Development Plans. Responsible for planning and development of sales activity within the Region. Develop customer relationships and negotiate terms with customers in a designated sales area, supporting the maximisation of net contribution from the customer and country. Take the initiative to identify and develop new business opportunities (with both new and existing customers) to support this objective. Ensure that all processes and transactions are fully compliant with company rules and regulations.

Key Tasks

Sales visits & Prospecting

Visit new and existing customers within designated sales area to negotiate prices, securing best cargo mix to meet the various volume and net contribution targets set as per Sales plan / budget / ADP.

Maintain personal relationship with all key customers.

Deliver Local Sales Targets, challenge, give feedback to meet trade requirements to support overall ONE strategy/vision.

Communication

Liaise with Operations, Customer Service and other departments to overcome operational issues.

Ensure overall that communication between Sales and other departments is running smoothly.
