QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our Digital Industries division we are looking for a Process Automation Sales Specialist who will work with End Users, Solution Partners, System Integrators and EPCs in the field of automation engineering with a focus on Digitalization for Process Industries.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Increase market awareness and exploitation for Process Automation and Digitalization Portfolio for Process Industries.
  • Marketing and Pre-sales support for assigned portfolio for all relevant sales channels and Top potential customers in Process Automation Market, focus on End Customers and related EPCs and Integrators (Solution Partners) in all Sales Regions.
  • Knowledge of market segments, with a focus on Process Control systems, potentials, pricing, competitors and applications.
  • Configuration, pricing and calculation of offers for related customers.
  • Direct access to all customers in this segment, he or she is specialized on dedicated products and applications for such products.
  • Conduct marketing activities at customer premises.
  • Establish excellent long term customer relations both in technical and procurement management.
  • Understand and analyze the customer needs, increase the market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Supply creative feedbacks to increase quality of the sales and marketing operations and processes.
  • Conception, development, organization, coordination of technical workshops for Process Automation products and related digitalization portfolio.
  • Compliant with regulations and company policies.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical / Electronic or Control Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product, system sales or solution business.
  • Good technical understanding of Process Automation and Process Engineering
  • Experience on Process Control Systems.
  • Knowledge on digitalization portfolio in conjunction with Process Automation (e.g. SIMIT and COMOS) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge in other automation systems from SIMATIC family (TIA Portal, S7-1200, S7-1500, Basic and Comfort HMI Panels).
  • Good knowledge in Industrial Communication.
  • Knowledge in Sales of Products, Systems and Services.
  • Good presentation and moderation skills.
  • Excellent command and Fluency in English.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Initiative – creativity – assertiveness - ability to work in a team – motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Decision making, change orientation and good communication skills.
