Coordination of departments for keeping the scrap rate under control
Daily scrap and defect data (SAP notifications) collection and analysis
Overall scrap data analysis and forecast. Informing accountable and responsible parties and getting them aligned with the scrap KPIs.
Being a representative for the engineering dept. for the internal and external audits.
Main responsible person for CR (cost reduction) projects.Collecting CR projects from all departments, following up of year-to-date (YTD) and possible carryover CR projects in set periods, interfacing with Corning Global for any status/progress change and informing Gebze plant accordingly, reporting and presenting CR projects, making sure project management platform (SRA) is properly used and maintained for the CR projects, interfacing with finance department to ensure the eligibility of CR projects
Keeping track of the FTE (full time equivalent) analysis.
CAR and kaizen reporting and follow up
AME (Achieving Manufacturing Excellence) audit and activities main responsible person (for engineering dept.)
Taking power user role for Change Management System. Keeping track of approvals.
Main responsible person for engineering ARs (appropriation requests). Creation and submission.
Creating and updating engineering instructions within the QMS platform.
Qualifications
B.S., Engineering degree required
1-3 years of professional experience in manufacturing environments
MS Excel knowledge (mid-level) is a must
Statistical knowledge to evaluate scrap data
MS Project is desirable
Must be able to retrieve and analyze raw data from SAP (PP, MM, QM modules) with efficiency
ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 knowledge is desirable
English is a must. Must possess effective speaking writing and comprehension skills in English.
The ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
PTC Windchill knowledge desirable
Knowledge of various quality system methodologies is desirable (i.e. Lean, 6-Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, 5Whys, Pareto Analysis, Fish-Bone, FMEA, etc.)
Able to take initiatives when necessary and be assertive
Able to manage tasks, assignments, and projects with little or no supervision
