QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

As a dynamic enterprise, we are a leading distributor of speciality chemicals for various industries and we have been growing continuously. The main markets we serve are paint & coating, printing ink, wood coating, masterbatch and construction industries. Our growth is not limited to our commercial service but also includes enlarging our activities in coordination with our global chemical principals by providing distinctive technical service.

We are looking for an ambitious & dynamic Sales Engineer and the ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications and skills;

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or related field
  • At least 2 years of chemical sales and/or RD experience or related industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication (written & spoken) in English
  • Goal & result oriented and self –motivated,
  • Have an excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure/stressful conditions efficiently and professionally
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial and market data
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications
  • Use of CRM and general IT systems as required
  • Must have a driving license as an active driver (min. 2 years)
  • Able to travel in Turkey and abroad when necessary
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Living in Anatolian side of Istanbul.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Engineers are the backbone of our company as they maintain close relationships with our customers and provide exceptional technical support. The person will be responsible for the following:

  • Promote and develop commercial sales of various special chemicals to our existing and potential customers
  • Achieve volume and revenue target and develop customer relationships
  • Implementing sales and marketing activities in line with the company sales, marketing, and pricing policies
  • Visiting regularly all the customers with technical needs and projects development oportunities
  • Entering visit and call reports into the CRM system
  • Market analysis by identifying market trends and new applications
  • Keeping track of competitor’s activities in the market
