QUALIFICATIONS

- He / She must be holding an University Degree.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, (preferably a second language)
- Proven track record of selling and winning business.
- More than 3 years of team management experience.
- Min 7 years of experience in Sales or related business experience of International Freight Forwarding Companies.
- Must maintain a professional, positive attitude and demeanor, and have the ability to accurately execute multiple tasks.
- Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving skills, and be detail-oriented.
- Must possess excellent time management and organization skills.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment preferred.
- Able to interact with various personnel at customers/shippers, carriers/agents.
- Very good analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and enthusiasm. Proven track record of demonstrating role model competencies for the team.
- Knowledge of international trade lanes is preferred.
- Free to have business trips inside and outside of Turkey, be able to adapt to flexiable working hours.
- Driving Licence and active driver.
- Male candidates must have completed military service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be directly reporting to General Manager. The key responsibilities of the position are described as follows:
- Identify the present and future needs of the department to achieve the budget.
- Consolidate and further develop the sales channels, by implementing the appropriate channel mix through a balance of customer needs and cost of sales.
- Agree sales targets that are measurable and achievable annually/monthly.
- Plan, organize and direct the department in order to achieve targeted revenues and profitability.
- Ensure improved sales force effectiveness and efficiency in all sales channels.
- Determine and prioritize which tactics detailed in the regional business are to be deployed within the country for regular segment customers.
- With the Sales Executives determine local sales tactics, and their priority, for adoption for the regular segment.
- Ensure there is an annual budget for all sales channels with clear objectives that are aligned with the company.
- Analyze, identify and deploy the most appropriate offer to the customers, through utilizing internal or external expertise to meet their needs.
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate, develop and evaluate the performance of staff within the department
- Plan and take part in regular reviews of the team to manage career movements.
