QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Vilmorin-Mikado is a Business Unit of Limagrain gathering the activities of Vilmorin (French Seed Company) and Mikado Kyowa Seed (Japanese Seed Company). As a global Seed Company, Vilmorin-Mikado has strong basis over the 5 continents and offers a wide and original high-quality range to all the professionals of the vegetable chain. Vilmorin-Mikado is specialized in the creation, production and marketing of vegetable and tree seeds and is entirely dedicated to agricultural professionals.

We are looking for a Sales Responsible for Vilmorin Mikado in Antalya, Burdur and Isparta cities. Everyone is invited to make contribution to our future success. Reporting;

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager.

Main Responsibilities;

  • Achieve sales or market share targets with dealers/nurseries/large growers within assigned sub-sales area. After-sales follow-up of Vilmorin Mikado products.
  • Offer prices and term of payments in line with the company’s commercial policy and published price list.
  • Follow-up of order to delivery process and inventory at the customers
  • Follow-up payment process of his/her customers and track payables of the customers with credit department. Closely monitor financial health of the customers and report.
  • Create demand of targeted Vilmorin Mikado products on grower/channel/trader/exporter level through visits, demo field set-ups, field events, meetings, and sample product demonstrations.
  • Execute communication and promotion plans in the sub-sales area by aligning Product Development team.
  • Strongly contribute Product Development activities in the region. Lead and track all demo trials. Adapt commercial varieties in new segments / markets through the life cycle.
  • Monitoring the market trends and needs. Track competitor commercial/field activities and portfolio performance.
  • Follow-up of customer complaints and work closely with Product Development Team to manage complaints with proper solutions.
  • Regularly report to the Sales Management, provide information about customers, products and competitors.
  • Keep customer database up-to-date and expand it with new entries.

General Requirements;

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Agricultural Engineering Faculties of Reputable Universities
  • Minimum 3 years of experiences in vegetable seed business especially in sales roles
  • Able to work in flexible working hours
  • English knowledge is an asset
  • Driving License
  • Completed military service for male candidates
