QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Process
• Responsible for technical compliance check in Mobile Application Certification process, which is a global service to certify Mercedes Benz mobile apps before getting published to public stores (Apple Store, Google Play Store)
• Performing high qualified certification checks according to Mercedes Benz application development guidelines
• Guiding application owners about store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store etc.) publishment requirements.
• Providing vision and direction to the certification team and to all Mercedes Benz stakeholders throughout the world
• Managing mobile applications in the stores and track their processes.
• Following the news and trends in the mobile application world.
Tool
• Responsible for the application lifecycle management of the automation tool used globally for mobile application certification process (design, security, foss, legal and data protection compliance checks)
• Requirements engineering and planning of further developments
• Play active role in development and testing of the application
• Play active role in operation and maintainance of the application
• Conducting regular presentations to application owners from all around the World regarding the process and tool
• Maintenance of Intranet Page of the tool
Qualification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technologies, or equivalent educational background in engineering and working experience of at least 2 years
• Mobile application compliance check and publishment know-how on public stores (App App Store, Google Play Store etc.) is required.
• Java proficiency is an asset
• Understanding of 3rd party APIs is an asset
• Experience in agile working
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a must, German would be an asset
• Able to manage Stakeholders from different working areas
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
• Solution oriented and analytical nature with the ability to solve complex technical issues
• Ability to work in international teams
• No obstacle for traveling abroad
