QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • BA in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years required of senior and executive leadership experience
  • 12+ years required of IT experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to align key stakeholders toward a common goal and drive results and facilitate change.
  • Experience with systems, network design, TLS, familiar with certificate management and secure communication
  • Excellent understanding on Java Application Servers, ActiveMQ, Load Balancers, Nginx or similar web servers and similar on administration and troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
  • Technical capability
  • Oversee availability of all core IT systems
  • Experience with Microsoft, Linux and Java platforms
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL framework.
  • Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and Middleware
  • Experience with AWS cloud


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and execute IT strategies, schedules, policies and programs for the organization’s data processing, network communications, business operations, telecommunications, computer services and management information systems, according to established goals and objectives.
  • Manages day-to-day IT Operations and escalations, outage management and enterprise communication.
  • Create, review and maintain all IT Policy documentation
  • Reviews and evaluates technical Contracts, Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements for suitability to meet Clients internal technical, performance and financial needs.
  • Manages vendor relationships and addresses vendor shortcomings when they arise.
  • Responsible for the implementation of organizational information systems, software applications, and IT support and infrastructure systems.
  • Involved in managing change requests and circumventing project roadblocks. Uses negotiation skills to find solutions for problems that arise in the course of delivering IT solutions.
  • Manages technical aspects of IT projects and maintenance activities, directs day-to-day allocation of staff time according to prioritization of tasks at hand.
  • Compiles internal technical requirements and otherwise participates directly in the creation of Requests for Proposal for external IT vendors.
  • Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
  • Establish program to monitor/maintains application patches, updates, releases.
