QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

The successful candidates will be part of Whole Engine Integration Department as an Integration Engineers who will be performing integration activities among design teams working for gas turbine engine development and/or coordination of platform integration/support activities.

Responsibilities:

  • To define engine level design requirements with collaboration of design teams
  • Responsible of requirements breakdown for module level, allocation to related design teams and monitoring latest status,
  • To evaluate engine design integration and complete whole engine design activities,
  • To evaluate whole engine thermal displacement modeling and clearance assessment for gas turbine development programs,
  • To perform engine performance and flow path assessments,
  • To support engine platform integration activities and design trade studies,
  • To manage and control module interfaces between different design disciplines (e.g. Performance, Aero, Mechanical, SAS),
  • To prepare design workflows and execute according to the engine project plans,
  • To work with gas turbine component design groups to drive design changes,
  • To report whole engine design status to upper management,
  • To prepare and present the technical design data to internal and external customers,
  • To plan testing and instrumentation for validation and certification of gas turbines,
  • To provide mentoring to teammates in best practices of design and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field,
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience in similar position or relevant experience in aerospace projects,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Russian language is a plus,
  • Knowledge of turbofan/turboshaft/turbojet or gas turbine engines,
  • Design experience in complex system development projects,
  • Familiarity to systems engineering, design work flows and requirement management practices,
  • Advanced knowledge in thermodynamics and engine performance, transient engine analysis, engine matching, and aircraft performance,
  • Ability to work harmoniously in high-performance team environment,
  • Capability to operate in collaborative and cross-functional environment,
  • Ability to use CAD software (Siemens NX or similar) for basic design purposes,
  • Experience with MS Office, MS Project, IBM Doors, JIRA, Siemens Teamcenter (preferred),
  • No military obligation for male candidates (preferred).
