Job Definition :
To assist the Director of Finance in all stages leading to the preparation off all monthly financial reporting and analysis.
To assist in the preparation of special statistical reports which may be required by the local management or the Divisional / Regional Office.
To deputize for the Director of Finance during his absence and, therefore, to be fully acquainted with the Director of Finance's job description in order to carry out those responsibilities.
To be fully acquainted with the Hyatt International accounting system, its policies and procedures, and those of the hotel.
To maintain a second set of accounting to Turkish fiscal requirements.
To liaise with the Owning Company accounting office for all matters regarding inter-company accounts and local requirements.
To liaise with the external and tax auditors in compliance with local fiscal regulation.
To be thoroughly familiar with the duties and responsibilities off all accounting employees under his or her supervision.
To set guidelines and deadlines dates for each employee's monthly work in order to ensure timely financial reporting.
To ensure that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all pertinent financial records.
To handle all problems of the accounting office with the exception of those which have to be referred to the Director of Finance.
To make sure that all Touches of Hyatt are implemented.
To make sure that Rooms employees work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.
