GENEL NİTELİKLER

Working in the IAPI Solutions/Process Automation/Process Industries in Istanbul, Turkey you will be Leading the execution of small IAPI Solutions projects, ensuring that they are executed in line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements, and targets. You will drive the formal acceptance of the project by the customer, maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.


Your responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a Associate Site Manager who will work for a temporary period of 16-18 months at site, reporting to the Project Manager/Operations Manager and working as a member of the Project Execution team in Process Industries, Process Automation.
  • Site leadership by supervising, motivating and leading the site team. Your duties will include planning, scheduling and installation supervision activities at main customer site.
  • Being responsible for getting all information, budget for building site, drawing, process and project documentation from PM, making the site installation and commissioning plan, site resource plan.
  • Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with Project Managers and project team and participating in project, planning and scheduling.
  • Acting as key contact with Project Manager for external customers and actively communicating internally and externally on the project status and planned actions.
  • Ensuring that execution of site activities is carried out safely, efficiently and with high quality.
  • Tracking of project deliveries to assure project and contract requirements.
  • Implementation of ABB local policies (HSE, travel and expense, quality, Code of Conduct etc.) during project life cycle at site and adopting them as a business model.
  • Responsibly making the site regulations.
  • The site manager develops the site safety plan for the work on site collaborating with ABB HSE Manager, makes the works plan, builds the project execution schedule, specifies which tools and manning are needed to complete the scope of supply, meets with the customer, work instructions and other technical documents, and controls the on-site activities.
  • Coordinating and solving the problems caused by the project, having responsibility to organize meeting with customer for building site.
  • Maintaining customer and supplier relations, responsible for open issue and organizing the meetings.


Your Background:

  • Technical background, example Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar field of study and minimum 10 years of work experience with challenging operational responsibilities or supervision of sites.
  • Have proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a site team with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer orientation.
  • Experience in the Cement industry is considered as an advantage.
  • Having the ability to work in fast pace environment under pressure.
  • Always totally familiar with the contractual terms, technical specification of a project and Local HSE regulations.
