We seek for Operation Manager who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi Energy in High Voltage Service in İstanbul with below qualifications;

Your background

  • University degree in Electrical and / Mechanical Engineering,
  • Good command of written and spoken English,
  • Min 5-10 years of related work experience especially in the energy sector,
  • Experience with projects of different size, complexity and contractual types,
  • Knowledge of construction techniques preferred,
  • Working understanding of major engineering, procurement, and construction contracting, cost accounting, and budgeting,
  • Experienced use of Microsoft Office products preferred,
  • Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, team work oriented,
  • Completed military service for male applicants,
  • No restriction to travel.

Your responsibilities

  • Plans, monitors and controls project activities, proactively to maximize cash flow
  • Understands critical path scheduling and assures a minimum but sufficient project float.
  • Actively strives to optimize overall resource planning and utilization
  • Assures a valid Project Safety plan is in place.
  • Assures Hitachi Energy commitments to customer are met, in accordance with contract.
  • Works proactively to set customer expectation to assure a smooth project including acceptance of project deliveries and timely payment even under challenging circumstances.
  • Collaborates within local service units and with other Service teams to promote Hitachi Energy approach towards customers. Builds sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction and retention together with Sales. Drives consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback.
  • Drives continuous service productivity improvement activities in the assigned Service team in collaboration with the Operational Excellence team. Utilizes efficient tools (e.g. Mobile Service Assist (MSA)) to streamline Service processes and applications to support the customer. Ensures the transfer of Service findings to the product/system local units for improvement of their offerings.
  • Ensures compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives, and ensures instructions and regulations are implemented well within the team (including subcontractors), while monitoring and reporting progress and results. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements actions to ensure people and equipment safety.
