IT Systems Specialist
Qualifications
- Graduated from relevant departments of universities,
- Minimum 4 years of experience in enterprise IT operations and system administration,
- Experienced in Windows Server Family and client products
- Experienced in server, storage and virtualization technologies (preferably; DELL, EMC, Vmware
- Experienced in back-up and recovery processes in end-user computer and servers,
- Experienced in network and internet access: LAN & WAN, TCP/IP, routing, SSL, firewalls and VPN’s,
- Experienced in enterprise applications such as SCCM,
- Experienced in patch applications in end-user computers and servers,
- Experienced in Anti-virus and anti-spam applications,
- Creative, solution-oriented, open to innovations, constantly following technology,
- Good command of verbal and written English.
Job Description
- Responsible for operations and maintenance of high-available IT infrastructure, critical enterprise applications and high-traffic digital platforms,
- User e-mail/group definitions on Exchange and AD
- Mail servers and Active Directory
- Control and configurations of WAN and LAN connections / devices,
- Control and configurations of IPS, Content Filtering, Firewall and VPN’s
- Planning, deploying and maintaining IT projects,
- Running daily backup and recovery processes,
- Managing hardware and software assets, inventory and licenses,
- Installing, deploying and maintaining physical and virtual servers,
- Applying information security procedures and practices in IT infrastructure,
- Supporting service desk operations as L2 and L1 whenever needed,
- Deploying and configuring existing and new business processes in enterprise middleware layer.
- Contact 3rd party suppliers to get technical support.
- Contacting manufacturers to resolve or fix problems.
