We are looking for Executive Pastry Chef for D Maris Bay,
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate of gastronomic education or equivalent (apprenticeship/diploma/BA/Bsc)
- At least 5 years of experience in the role of patisserie in the international and luxury hotel segment,
- At least 10 years pastry experience
- HACCP certificate
- Banquet experience is preferred
- Good communication and team management skills
- English – excellent oral and written skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Expert in Chocolate showpiece & French Pastries
- Experienced in ice cream production
- Experienced in menu and concept planning,
- Designing special treats for guests
- Knowledgeable of food safety regulations
- Experienced in team management
- Ability to work independently, develop under pressure in challenging conditions, and produce proactive and rational solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with hotel staff and guests/vendors
- Ability to effectively identify and delegate tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Always applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach.
- Operates safely, discreetly and in an organized manner
- Knowledge of sales, marketing and promotion practices
- Experienced in Cost, manning, personnel & budget planning
